A newbie is an amazing person to us seasoned burners. A krusty burner can be heard to mumble things like “…it was better in year xxxx
” but through the wide open eyes of a newbie, we can once again catch a glimps into our past… and relive our first experience at BRC.
Oh… and if you are chatting with a burner and s/he tries to tell you what Burning Man is going to be like for you… politely walk away. The experience is different for everyone. It could range from a dusty week with crazy people, to a life changing experience. Go in with no expectations.
That said, being prepared can make the differnce between a painful/crippling week in a harsh climate, and a carefree week during which you are healthy, comfortable, and ready to experience all that is Burning Man! Here are some helpful links:
